Another
of the advantages of our accommodation in
Ronda lies in its vicinity with the most typical
and tourist towns in the mountainous area:
Setenil: a town with panoramic views that
make it advisable not to forget to bring one’s
camera. Some of its houses are incrusted inside
a great rock.
Montejaque: this small one with about 1000
inhabitants contains the Cave of the Cat,
which is of great speleological interest.
Benaoján: another of the entrances
to the Cave of the Cat lies within the proximities
of this town. The Cave of the Pileta is also
within its vicinity.
Grazalema: this lies on the mountain range
of the same name and in the province of Cadiz
but next to Ronda, this town will offer you
one of the best mountain landscapes with fir
forests and reservations for mountain goats.
Acinipio: this is an archaeological location
with remains of constructions of Roman origin.
Cuevas del Becerro: another small town with
remains of fortresses. Good goat cheeses are
manufactured.
Villaluenga del Rosario: here the famous payoyo
cheese is manufactured.
El Gastor: well-known as the balcony of the
white towns. |
