Ronda
is the most romantic city in Andalusia, which
has known how to preserve its traditional
image along with the Mountainous Area and
its history, in both bullfighters and bandits
have appeared.
Although it is a small city and it does not
have more than 35,000 inhabitants, your holidays
in Ronda will need several weeks for you to
get to know the whole tourist offer in this
place. After their first visit, Ronda will
probably become a constant reference in your
holidays.
Bear in mind that the city of Ronda is the
starting point for many possible excursions
to the White Towns of the Mountainous Area
(a few minutes away one can find Setenil,
Zahara, El Burgo, Benaoján, Montejaque,
etc.). The seaside is also a few kilometres
away, the cities of Marbella or San Pedro
de Alcántara being the first you will
find.
If you are interested in gastronomy, in Ronda
you will find several of the best restaurants
in the province: Tragabuches (in a nineteenth
century house that offers a modern and creative
cuisine, a combination of the most traditional
and the innovative elements), Del Escudero
(with some of the best views of the mountainous
area of Ronda), Pedro Romero (located next
to the Real Maestranza of Ronda). If you are
